When i try to sign in to messenger it keeps saying
You cannot use MSN Messenger at this time because your contact list is not available. Please try again later.
I hope this is just temperary. maybe it's a way of telling me to upgrade to windows live? I've been using msn messenger under compatibility mode and it's been working fine.

Yeah, that happened to me too. Maybe something was wrong with a server or something. Everything seems to be working fine now though.

It works. although I really can't understand why it signs me out at the same time every day at school, but everything else stays connected.

I had the same problem sort of with windows messenger, but that's when I desided to upgrade to windows live. I probably didn't have to, but I like windows live better.
